Janet is an Associate Attorney and focuses her practice in the areas of wills, trusts, elder law, probate estate and trust administration, and real estate. After the thousands of matters I have handled for clients, I realized that I am passionate about estate planning, elder law, and alternate dispute resolution. It is important for people’s wishes to be memorialized through estate planning documents so they can be carried out in times of need. I enjoy meeting with people and crafting an individualized plan just for them.

Janet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, cum laude, and her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University.

She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar for the Eastern District of Michigan. In addition, she is an Accredited Claims Attorney through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Janet has received a certificate in General/Civil Mediation, a certificate for completing the ICLE Probate & Estate Planning Certificate Program, and a certificate for completing the ICLE Elder Law Certificate Program. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Macomb County Probate Bar Association.
